World Jr. A "unbelievable" experience for Escott, Horyl, Ryan

The three MJAHL representatives of Team Canada East in the recent World Junior A Challenge are now back with their club teams, but have not, nor will they ever forget the experience. Eighteen-year-old Truro Bearcats forward Stephen Horyl, 17-year-old Amherst Ramblers centre Jordan Escott and Pictou County Weeks Crushers head coach Troy Ryan all felt the league was well represented during the early November tournament.   ...more

Joudrey headed back to Crushers

Andrew Joudrey is a Crusher once again. The 20 year-old forward from Westville N.S. has been with the Commandos this season, tallying 4 points to date in 19 outings. In his three previous seasons with the Crushers, Joudrey earned a total of 96 points in 166 games and helped the Cruhsers win a Fred Page Cup title last spring.
